Rhinos Panthers Statistics – Week 2 IFL 2025

Game statistics for Rhinos Milano vs. Panthers Parma on February 22, 2025, and updated league statistics for IFL 2025 through Week 2.

The statistics from the Rhinos vs. Panthers game highlight two crucial aspects: both teams struggled to establish an effective running game, and there was an unusually high number of punts—four each. This means nearly half of the offensive drives ended with a punt (45% of the Panthers’ nine offensive drives and 40% of the Rhinos’ ten drives).

Another notable statistic, though to be considered cautiously, is time of possession. The Rhinos controlled the ball for 29 minutes and 27 seconds, while the Panthers had possession for only 18 minutes and 33 seconds. This was mainly due to the Rhinos’ persistent comeback attempt in the third and fourth quarters, keeping their offense on the field for 18 out of the final 24 minutes.

OFFENSE – Passing

Among individual performances, Patterson (Panthers’ quarterback) delivered an outstanding game, completing 15 of 27 passes, throwing three touchdowns, accumulating 298 passing yards, and avoiding any interceptions.
Marquez McCray also had a solid performance, completing 17 of 30 passes for 193 yards and one touchdown, but his two interceptions weighed heavily on his stat line—one of which was returned for a touchdown.

OFFENSE – Running Game

As mentioned earlier, the rushing attack was weak for both teams. The Panthers fared slightly better with a net total of 30 rushing yards (51 gained and 21 lost), with Patterson accounting for 20 yards himself. The Rhinos managed only 17 net rushing yards, despite gaining 71 total yards—but they lost 54 yards, mainly due to sacks on McCray.

OFFENSE – Receiving

Among receivers, Bouah stood out with four receptions for 117 yards and one touchdown, followed by the Panthers’ duo: Cebotaru (four receptions for 93 yards) and Ghelfi (three receptions for 99 yards and one touchdown).

OFFENSE – All-Purpose Yards

The top performer in all-purpose yards was Rhinos’ Tamsir Seck, who had 22 receiving yards but also racked up 124 kick return yards, including a kickoff return touchdown, for a total of 144 yards.
He was followed by Bouah (134 total yards) and Cebotaru (103 total yards).

DEFENSE

Defensively, both teams had similar standout performances.
For the Rhinos, Restelli recorded five tackles, while Olivas had 4.5 tackles, though neither recorded a tackle for loss (TFL).
For the Panthers, Parnell led the team with five tackles, including a 13-yard sack (TFL). Caccialupi contributed four tackles, with an impressive three tackles for loss (totaling 11 yards). Additionally, Alinovi and Montaresi each recorded 3.5 tackles and both intercepted a pass.

PENALTIES

Penalties played a significant role in the game, particularly affecting the Rhinos, who were flagged eight times for a total of 85 yards (!). In contrast, the Panthers committed just three penalties for 45 yards.
